Sundarvan

Sundarvan is a beautiful small zoo in the heart of Ahmedabad where you may feed many types of birds, rabbits, and hamsters while engaging your senses to the sounds and beauty of nature. Sundarvan was established in 1978 and is designated as a mini zoo by the Central Zoo Authority of India. It is well-known for its snake rescue and awareness programs.

It is home to reptiles, birds & mammals. The area is generally known as a snake park since it is home to four reptile species: lizards, snakes, turtle tortoises & crocodiles. It has around 50 different tree species as well as other shrub and herb species. The park's free-roaming mammals include Indian Fruit Bats, Small Indian Mongooses, and Five-striped Palm Squirrels. Sundarvan is home to some winter migrants, including Grey-headed Canary Flycatchers, Red-breasted Flycatchers and Tickell's Blue Flycatchers.
