About Nohkalikai Fall

Nohkalikai waterfall is fourth highest waterfall in the world falling from the height of around 1100 feet. The Nohkalikai waterfall is located at just 5KM from the Cherrapunjee and a must visit attraction during monsoon season. You can reach to view point by driving through the table land from where you need to hike a short distance to have a beautiful view of the fall.

The ideal months to see Nohkalikai Falls are October to December and March to May. During this season, the weather is good, and you may see clear sky and fast-flowing waterfalls in their full beauty.


How to reach Nohkalikai Fall

By Airport

Borjhar airport in Guwahati, about 166 kilometres north, is the nearest airport. There are various local transportation options available from the airport.

By Train

The nearest railway station is Guwahati, which is 99 kilometres from Cherrapunjee. After arriving in Guwahati, you may book a variety of vehicles to get to this waterfall.

By Road

It is a four-hour drive from Guwahati to Shillong, the state capital of Meghalaya, from where it is a 54-kilometer drive to Cherrapunji.
