Rashtra Prerna Sthal is a newly developed national memorial located in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh. It was inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and is dedicated to honoring the ideals, vision, and contribution of three great leaders of modern India – Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee, Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay, and former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee. Spread across 65 acres, this grand site has been developed at a cost of around ₹230 crore. It stands today as a symbol of national pride, leadership, and service to the country.
The most striking feature of Rashtra Prerna Sthal is the 65-feet tall bronze statues of the three leaders. Each statue weighs around 42 tons and reflects strength, dignity, and inspiration. These statues are visible from a distance and leave a powerful impression on visitors.
Another major attraction is the lotus-shaped modern museum, built over nearly 98,000 square feet. The museum uses digital displays and immersive technology to show India’s national journey and the contribution of these leaders. It is informative, engaging, and suitable for all age groups.
What makes this place special is that it has been built on land that was once a large garbage dump. Today, it has been transformed into a clean, green, and meaningful public space.
