Radha Raman Temple is one of the most peaceful and spiritually powerful temples in Vrindavan. Located near Nidhivan, Mathura, Uttar Pradesh. This temple is dedicated to Lord Krishna in the form of Radha Raman Ji.

Radha Raman Temple History

The temple was established in the 16th century by Gopal Bhatta Goswami, one of the main disciples of Chaitanya Mahaprabhu. According to history, Gopal Bhatta Goswami worshipped 12 Shaligram Shilas. One day, he wished to decorate the Lord with beautiful clothes and ornaments like other temples. The next morning, one of the Shaligrams transformed into a beautiful Krishna idol. This form became known as Radha Raman Ji.

Many devotees believe that the face expression of Radha Raman Ji changes according to time, festival, and mood of the Lord.

1. Janmashtami: Krishna Janmashtami is celebrated with great devotion. The temple is beautifully decorated, and thousands of devotees gather for midnight celebrations.
2. Radhashtami: The appearance day of Radha Rani is also celebrated with special bhajans and decorations.
3. Holi in Vrindavan: Holi celebrations here are devotional, not like playful street Holi. The temple atmosphere becomes very colorful and joyful.

Best Time to Visit Radha Raman Temple

The best time to visit Vrindavan is from October to March. The weather is good and comfortable for temple visits. Monsoon season is less crowded but can be wet.
