Bibi ka Maqbara is dedicated to Aurangzeb's wife Rabia-ud-Daurani. This was built at the cost of 6 to 7 lakhs at that time. This tomb is very similar to the Taj Mahal. The major difference between Bibi ka Maqbara and Taj Mahal is that Bibi ka Maqbara is in Square shape while Taj Mahal is in octagonal shape

History

After delivering a fifth child, the wife of Aurangzeb Rabia-ud-Daurani also known as Dilras Banu died. This was shocking for Aurangzeba and his son Azam Shah. Dilras Banu was an important woman for both father and son. So they were in deep shock and it takes too much time to come out from this. Thus, In 1668 this maqbara was built.
