Shanti Stupa, Alchi, Thiksey Monastery (Gompa), Shey Palace and Monastery, Pangong Tso (Pangong Lake), and Sindhu Ghat are few places to be visited when you are here. Taste the local dishes like Thukpa, noodle soup, Tsampa, known in Ladakhi as Ngamphe (roasted barley flour), and Skyu which is a heavy pasta dish with ample of vegetables and the popular Momos.

Best time to visit Leh:

The best time to visit Leh would be April to July when summers are here and temperature goes from 15 – 30 degree Celsius. Very less people plans to go Leh during monsoon time when temperature varies between 3 to 17 degrees Celsius. Avoid planning in winters i.e. from October to March as the temperature falls from 0 – 15 degree Celsius.
