Thirumalai Nayak Palace was built in 1636 AD by King Thirumalai Nayak, Basically we can call it 17th century palace.  This palace is a great joining of Dravidian and Rajput styles. There are total 248 pillars in the whole palace having height of 48 feet. One of the most attractive features of this palace is the amazing light and sound show. You can enjoy this show in two languages English and Tamil. There are different timings of the show for different languages.

Timings / Entry Fee:

Palace visiting hours: 9:00AM to 1:00PM and 1:30PM to 5:00PM (closed for lunch from 1:00PM to 1:30PM)
