The Siddhanchal Jain Temple Caves are part of a larger complex of caves situated in the Bhimbetka Region. The temple cave served as an important center for Jainism teaching and meditation. Siddhanchal Jain Temple Caves were originally made during the 6th and 7th centuries CE. They have undergone different phases of construction over the centuries. These caves developed during the 10th and 12th centuries under the support of important Jain eras and local rulers.

It attracted the Jain Monks from all the corners of the country. During the reign of the Gupta Empire, the lessons of Jainism grew. Artwork of Jain Tirthankaras was carved on the rocks of these temple caves.
