Poovar beach is basically a fishing beach that separates the River Neyyar from the sea. This is a small coastal village, located about 30 km at the southern tip of the district Trivandrum. This beach is well-known for its immaculate and the virginal beauty that is why it is considered as a perfect lovers spot. The sheer beauty of Poovar is really a window into paradise. The Lake, Sea, River, and Beach all beautifully meet in the Poovar land, which is rarely found in Kerala.
