Pangong Lake is one of the highest saltwater lakes on the planet. Pangong Lake, also known as Pangong Tso, sits serenely at an elevation of 14,270 feet. The lake is approximately 5 km wide at its widest point and approximately 134 km long. Furthermore, no one knows how deep Pangong Lake is, though it is estimated to be around 300 feet.
