Wagah border is located in northern part of Indian state Punjab. Wagah is village in Pakistan situated on the historic grand trunk road, which passes between Amritsar and Lahore. The boundary line or radcliffe line was drawn between India and Pakistan at the time partition.
Why Wagah Border is Famous?
Wagah Border is the place where Wagah-Attari Border Ceremony is Performed on daily basis. This ceremony was performed by military and security forces of India and Pakistan jointly since 1959.
