By Train

There are no direct trains to Mandi, but you can take the nearest one from Chandigarh, from whence cabs and buses can be hired.

By Road

Except for the last 10 kilometres, the road to Prashar Lake is well built on the state highway, therefore be cautious of off-road sections.
