Nandanvan Jungle Safari is located in Naya Raipur, Chhattisgarh. Naya Raipur city is developing into a world class city. It is vision of the Former Chief Minister Dr. Raman Singh to create a world class Zoo & Safari in Naya Raipur. In fact this is one of his dream project. The proposed area is adjoining the Botanical Garden. The whole area, thus shall be developed as a conservation, recreational and educational site. Nandanvan Jungle Safari, Naya Raipur will provide pleasing experience to the visitors not only about the local wildlife but also about national wildlife. The exhibits care and awareness will be of such a level to promote conservation of wildlife. This zoo & safari will be a showcase of nature for the visitors nature lovers.
Currently, there are four main safari zones you can explore: Herbivore Safari (30 hectares), Bear Safari (20 hectares), Tiger Safari (20 hectares), and Lion Safari (20 hectares). In addition to these, a zoo is under development, where 32 more animal species will be displayed in the future. The Nandanvan Jungle Safari has different charges for Safari, Zoo entry, Photography, Cancellations, and special Member Rates for schools.
Nandanvan Jungle Safari - open 8 AM to 5 PM in summer and 9 AM to 4 PM in winter (closed Mondays). Enjoy tiger, lion, bear, and herbivore safaris, bird watching, and lush green landscapes near Raipur.
