Girnar Jain Temples are a group of temples dedicated to the two major Jain sects, Digambara and Svetambara. The temple complex is situated in the Girnar Mountains in the Junagadh district of Gujarat, India. The temple complex is dedicated to Jainism, one of the oldest religions in the world. The grand temple complex atop Mount Girnar houses several shrines of Jain Tirthankaras with spacious passages, porches, and halls. Devotees who are unable to climb the hills can use a palkhi (palanquin), which can be found near the mountain's base. The months of November through February are ideal for a visit.
