About Dwarkadhish Temple (Jagat Mandir), Dwarka, Gujarat

Dwarkadhish temple which is also known as Jagat Mandir is the world's famous temple of Lord Krishna. This is a 5 story temple supported by 72 pillars which was built 2000 to 2200 years ago. Dwarkadhish temple gujarat is one of India's most well-known Hindu temples. Dwarkadhish mandir, also known as Jagat Mandir or Trilok Sundar among the local community, is a Char Dham Yatra stop along with Badrinath, Jagannath Puri, and Rameshwar. The temple is also a major religious tourism destination in the country, and it is both architecturally and religiously significant. According to local legend, Lord Krishna's great grandson Vajranabha erected the Dwarkadhish Temple in honour of the Lord around 2,500 years ago. The temple is located near the Gomti River, where devotees bathe to wash away their sins.

  • Dwarka and Beyt Dwarka - both are different places so don't confuse as Dwarka is the place where Dwarkadhish temple is located where as Beyt Dwarka is located at around 45KM from Dwarka and is an island.
