Charminar is one of Hyderabad's most attractive landmarks. Sultan Muhammed Quli Qutb Shah, the 5th Sultan of the legendary Qutb Shahi family, created this 400-year-old monument. The Charminar was built in the Indo-Saracenic architectural style. It is also the best example of Qutub Shahi architecture, having been built in 1591 by Mohammed Quli Qutub Shah to commemorate the end of the city's epidemic.

It is as stunning at night when illuminated. Visit Timing: 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., seven days a week. Entry Fee: Rs. 5 for Indians/ Rs. 100 for foreigners. Charminar architecture was brilliantly constructed with Granite and lime mortar.
