Baba Mandir is a temple dedicated to the Indian army soldier Harbhajan Singh. This place is one of the must-visit places near Gangtok. History

  • in 1968, Harbhajan Singh died and he came into the dream of one of the colleagues and ask him to the memorial on his name where he died. Thus, sentries made samadhi of Harbhajan Singh and later temple was developed. - Guards believe that Harbhajan Singh's spirit is alive and he will protect them.
