Anamudi peak is located in Anaimalai hills and at the height of 8842 ft from the sea level. This mountain is the highest peak of western ghat as well as in South India. The meaning of Anamudi is 'elephant's forehead'. This place is famous for trekking where many trekking enthusiastic and adventure lovers visit during the year.
