Gaga Wildlife Sanctuary, Dwarka, Gujarat

Gaga wildlife sanctuary is a lesser known area located near Bhatiya village of Dev Bhumi Dwarka district. It is a protected area of 332.87 hectares in size established in November 1988. It is one of those two Bustard sanctuary in Gujarat established to protect Great Indian Bustard. Sadly, the bird has disappeared over two decades ago.

Now days, you will get a chance to locate birds like flamingoes, lark, partridge, and sand grouse. If you on a trip to Dwarka, you can visit Gaga wildlife sanctuary located around 10KM from Bhatiya towards Dwarka. The sanctuary can also be reached by boat from the port of Dwarka.
