Kochrab Ashram was the first ashram established by Mahatma Gandhi in Ahmedabad. Prior to the establishment of the Sabarmati Ashram, Kochrab Ashram served as Gandhi's residence along with his wife, Kasturba Gandhi, and several other individuals who dedicated themselves to the cause of independence.
