And talk about Tiger Conservation. Because these iconic animals are not just a symbol of strength and beauty but also play a crucial role in maintaining the balance of their ecosystems. However, the tiger population has been declining rapidly due to habitat loss, poaching, and other threats. It is our responsibility to protect them and their habitats, not only for their survival but also for the benefit of future generations. Tiger conservation efforts are not just about saving a species but also preserving the natural world we all depend on.

India has a network of 51 tiger reserves spread across 18 states, covering an area of over 72,000 square kilometers. These reserves provide a safe haven for tigers and other wildlife, ensuring their survival for generations to come. Each reserve is unique in its landscape, vegetation, and wildlife, making every safari a different experience. From the dense jungles of Madhya Pradesh‘s Bandhavgarh and Kanha National Parks to the misty hills of Tamil Nadu‘s Mudumalai Wildlife Sanctuary, there is a reserve to suit every traveler’s taste. With trained guides, well-equipped safari vehicles, and strict conservation measures, these reserves offer a safe and ethical way to observe tigers and other wildlife in their natural habitats.

On the 50th anniversary of Project Tiger, Prime Minister Narendra Modi released the latest tiger census on April 8, 2023, showing a steady increase in their population.

According to the report, the country’s tiger population has steadily increased over the years, rising from 1,411 in 2006 to 1,706 in 2010, 2,226 in 2014, 2,967 in 2018, and reaching 3,167 in 2022.

Isn’t this wonderful news for the nation and for all of you who love seeing tigers in the wild?
