How To Reach Lohagad Fort

By Air

Lohagad does not have an airport, and the nearest airport is Pune Airport, which is 65 kilometers away from the fort. You can take a private cab or taxi to Lohagad Fort from here, or you can take the train to Malavli station and hike to the top for about 3 hours.

By Train

Getting to the Lohagad Fort by train from Pune or Mumbai is simple. Take a train to Lonavala and then change to a local train to Malavli station. The fort is 5 kilometers away, and you can book a shared auto or taxi to get there.

By Bus

There are no direct buses connecting Pune and Lohagad Fort, so you'll have to take a bus until you reach Lonavala. Then take a private taxi or cab to Lohagad Wadi village, which will take about an hour.
